Biography of Ryan

ImageHi, I'm Ryan Haworth, I'm fourteen years old, and I live in Traverse City, Michigan. I love skiing, hanging out with friends and family, and also playing soccer. I ski mostly at Mt. Holiday Ski area in Traverse City, it has some nice jumps and rails, and many great friends that I ski with.
I have been skiing for almost five years, and hopefully I will be able to ski for years to come. In the summer time, I go to ski camps, yet also ski in my backyard since my dad and my trainer, Mark Goethel, built me a water ramp in my lake, at my house. Come and check it out! Hopefully, a couple rails will be built next summer.
My goals are to one day make it to the X-Games, and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. I have been doing the USSA series mostly, and have made it to the Junior Olympics in 2008, and again in 2009, additionally I hope to make it in 2010. Last year I placed 4th in half pipe, 4th in slope style and 6th in aerials, nationally. Hopefully this year, with a lot of hard work and practice, I will make it again, and do even better.

My best tricks are a 1080 (three full rotations) and a switch 900 grab. I can also do Lincoln loops, rodeos, back flips, front flips, cork 700, and switch cork 540.

Thanks to all my sponsors, friends and family for believing in me, and making my dreams possible.

Please keep checking out my website for more video and pictures.

Ryan is currently traveling to various qualifiers for the Junior Olympics. He is hitting the local slopes any chance he gets while he is in Traverse City and ripping it up on his Nordica Ace of Spades dressed head to toe in Orage gear.
